Flagstaff - Camp Verde

We had to stay another night in Flagstaff to do a repair on the RV - nothing major but it had to be done..... In the afternoon we took a trip to Williams on Route 66, which was at least 20 degrees warmer and we spent some time poking around the shops.

.......

A man thing Route 66 Mother Road for car nuts like me.

Only in America......

Next morning we left and headed south looking for warmer weather as only around 40F and too cold for us!  We stopped at a RV park in Camp Verde as this was central to the area, set up and headed out to look at Montezuma's Castle, not far away.

The people that lived here mysteriously left around 1400AD and no one knows why.

We also went to Montezuma's Well which is a different place - they used to live in caves around the well......

Caves with rooms further back - small doors just visible.

Daryl spent some time looking for snakes again.....
