Hot Springs to Scottsbluff, Nebraska
We head further south to find some warmer weather and move down into Nebraska. We call into Alliance to find a place to have lunch and trip across Carhenge.....
Daryl was quite disturbed about the fords buried at Carhenge, so much so he nearly stood on a rattlesnake on the way back to the RV......
Forget the Crocodile Hunter.....meet Daryl, "The Rattlesnake Hunter". He spent the next few days checking every pile of dirt hunting out more rattlesnakes, despite that they are venomous and knowing his habit of poking everything in site just to see what happens......
We moved on and found the Chimney Rock.......
Then Scottsbluff, which we were once again too big to drive up thru the tunnels but the National Parks Service guy gave us a ride to the top, which had an amazing view.....
We stayed the night in Gerring, just below the bluff.
