We left a very chilly Billings, still fine and headed east towards South Dakota (Rapid City) we were heading for Mt Rushmore, (another late start 11am before we left, check out time)
We found Custer's last stand (Little Bighorn National Monument), American Indian country so the monument was more about the Indians rather than Custer and his army.
We watched a movie on the battle, interesting take on what happened and why. Also at the Monument is a burial ground of all the solders that lost their lives in the battle, the place had a very eerie feeling .Plus a wolf was watching over us.
